Love, Joy, Peace...

About Us

At Morning Star Baptist Church, we are a community of believers dedicated to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our church is a place where you can grow in your faith, find support, and make lasting friendships. A church where everyone is welcome.

Our Story

Founded in 1877, Morning Star has been a cornerstone of the Natchez community. Our journey began with a small group of faithful individuals under a Brush Arbor, who were passionate about sharing the love of Christ. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, but our commitment to our mission remains steadfast.

Our Mission

We are a diverse community seeking to love God, revive believers, reach friends and renew culture. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

Our Vision

We envision a church that is a beacon of hope and love in our community. We aim to be a place where people can encounter God, experience transformation, and be equipped to make a difference in the world. To impact people lives, to see people saved, healed, set free, empowered and serving while using technology and arts to reach people.
